REACH (Raising Expectations & Achievement of Children with Hearing Loss)
This Extended Learning opportunity is offered to deaf and hard of hearing ELEMENTARY-aged
youth after school three days each week. MIDDLE SCHOOL teens attend two mornings a week before classes. The
emphasis is on closing the gap in academic, social and emotional growth that often occurs when hard of hearing
and deaf kids miss out on incidental learning. REACH has special recretional events on days when school closes
early or is not open as well as SUMMER activities.
